Participants will learn the cognitive-behavioral approach to treating anxiety disorders in children and adolescents. The three parts of anxiety- physiological (body), cognitive (thoughts), and behavior will be explained and participants will learn skills and strategies to use to address each part with clients. The strategies taught will include relaxation techniques, positive self-talk, conquering worry/ loop recordings, identifying and challenging cognitive distortions, and how to address the typical avoidance and reactive behaviors commonly seen in children with anxiety through behavioral exposures. $65.
