What Type of Content is Appropriate?
Maryland Families Engage features high-quality content on topics relating to family engagement and early learning with our statewide and national audiences. Examples of this include:
- Content that falls within one or more of our 11 featured topics: Community Partnerships, English Language Learners, Family Events, Family Partnerships, Grants/Funding Leadership, Life Events, Policies, Professional Development, Research, Special Needs, and Teaching and Learning.
- Short- or moderate-length articles, usually between 500 and 2,000 words. Topics might include family engagement success stories, programs, or initiatives.
- Produced and edited video clips between two and five minutes in duration.
How Does it Work?
If your program, center, school, college, or organization is interested in submitting content to be included on this website, please use the appropriate form linked below. Please include a one-paragraph description of your resources as well as the intended audience (families or education professionals).
We will contact you within one business week to notify you that we have received the materials. The materials will then go to a committee of experts for a decision about inclusion on the website. The entire process from submission to publication is approximately one month.
