The purpose of this training is to look at the increasing level of stress found in children ages 2 through 12, and what can be done to help these children cope with their stress and anxiety. The areas that will be presented include: what causes stress, how young children exhibit stress, what techniques child-care providers can use to help lessen that stress, and how to establish collaboration between providers and parents to reduce the impact of stressors on young children.
