During this time of rapidly shifting conditions for instruction, educators are looking for ways to engage young children in culturally-affirming instruction, connect with parents and families, and extend opportunities for learning from books to hands-on activities at school and at home. Join REL West for the first webinar in a series of free events that will provide opportunities to learn a routine for storybook reading and explore ideas for home-family connections. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a Community of Practice follow-up event in February to share their successes and challenges in trying out the storybook routine with their children and families.
