Did you know that harmful environmental exposures have been detected in child care facilities including elevated levels of pesticides, lead, flame retardants and asthmagens? Children are at greater risk due to their behaviors and because they are still growing and developing rapidly.
Hester Paul, MS, National Director, Eco-Healthy Child Care® and Dr. Laura Anderko, PhD RN, Director, Mid-Atlantic Center for Children’s Health and the Environment will discuss the importance of protecting children’s health from environmental hazards commonly found in early care and learning settings. The webinar will highlight low-cost and effective tips that child care professionals can take to reduce or eliminate hazards including lead paint and lead in water exposures. Register here.
