The Hawthorne Judy Center in Baltimore County is gearing up for the nation’s largest reading celebration-Read Across America Day. Featuring guest reader Maryland State Department of Education, Division of Early Childhood Quality Assurance Specialist Meghan K. Leach-Gwynn and parents, the children at the Hawthorne Judy Center will enjoy a reading extravaganza for this special literacy project. PreK (9:50-10:15 a.m.), kindergarten (10:15 a.m.), preschool (10:30 a.m.), and preschool (1-1:30 p.m.).
