Sensory Friendly Sunday

This monthly event is designed for families with children, teens, and adults with sensory processing differences, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities. The center opens early to allow visitors to enjoy a calm environment while exploring the exhibits, Discovery Room, trails, and outdoor play area. Planetarium opens between 11:30 am and noon. Sensory maps, sensory backpacks and quiet areas available. While walk-ins welcome, you are encouraged to reserve your space.
