Chicken and Dumpling Soup: 2 roast chicken breasts, 8 cups of liquid (water or chicken broth), 1 pound of mushrooms, 5 carrots, 3 or 4 cloves of garlic, spring onions, medium onion, salt and pepper to taste, 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of butter, 1 cup of buttermilk.
