Equity on the Ground will feature Dr. Aaliyah Samuel, the Executive Vice President for Government Affairs & Partnerships at NWEA. She is also a fellow at the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University.
Participants will have an opportunity to:
- Discuss the implementation of equitable family, school and community engagement to encourage high-levels of achievement for all children.
- Reflect on how to move forward with redesigning educational equity and incorporating an equitable approach to partnerships between families and educators.
- Learn about equity initiatives that are underway in Maryland.
