The Read Aloud 21-Day Challenge, “Read Aloud Around the Camp” Event: parents and families are invited to bring their little ones and blankets to the new Washington County Free Library. The families will enjoy building “forts” in the library atrium and the story of “Where the Wild Things Are,” by Maurice Sendak. This event is free and open to birth through five-year-old children and their families. The Read Aloud 21-Day Challenge is a national campaign that promotes reading aloud with children for 15 minutes a day, every day.
