Little Chef Award (Certificate)Congratulations, Little Chef!

Gordon Ramsay, Emeril Lagasse, Rachel Ray or Carla Hall: is your little one the next celebrity chef? It’s possible. Today, children as young as four can be found on YouTube whipping up some tasty treats.

After watching a few baking shows during the COVID-19 pandemic, two sisters in Florida, Electia (12) and Aniyah (10) Jackson started the Young Queens Baking homemade cookie business. In Kentucky, 7-year-old Stella Hayden also started a cookie business called Stella Bella’s Bake Shop.

Whether your little chef plans to cook for a living or just for fun, children develop critical life skills from cooking. Share your photos or videos of your little chef “in action” with @MDEngageEarly on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using the Hashtags #MyLittleChef and #HealthyGreenFamilies.
